Sure. In IIS 5 anyway, I don't have access to an NT4/IIS4 box right now to
check that version.
Start the IIS MMC up and pick the web site you wish to make the setting for,
and bring up its properties. Click the Home Directory tab. Click the
Configuration button in the Application Settings area. Presumably the list
will show the .php extension. Highlight it and click the Edit button. In the
lower left corner of the box that comes up is a checkbox labeled "Check that
file exists". Check it and IIS will verify that a requested file exists
before processing the request.
