It doesn't look like there's a space between the close-parentheses of the mysql_connect function and the OR. This is all basic debugging -- you've limited the problem to one line, now you go through the line looking for problems. As far as I can tell the problem is the lack of space between the mysql_connect(...) and the 'or'. -Mike
