Hi all,
I've been coding PHP for a while now (FreeBSD), and recently had to revert
back to running windows due to some other problems and requirements I had to
do my work... Well, I installed PHP, and IIS, and set it all up (It's not
like I haven't done it before), and happily just restored the backed up PHP
code of a fairly simple form which I have coded under FreeBSD. I don't
think there's a problem with the installation as such, PHP does work,
phpinfo() returns everything, PHP files load, echo's will echo, functions
will functions, the whole thing - variables, however, does not register?!?!
To my shock and horror... The form doesn't work in PHP. I also tried
PHPAds, and the same happens. PHPMyAdmin does however work - which is
needless to say, very strange.
PHP does not register any of the form values!!!!!!!!!!! I can't recall any
data... Say, for example:
-- HTML --
<?php
echo $formvar;
?>
<form method="post" action="/blah.php">
<input type="text" name="formvar" size="20" value="<?=
$formvar ?>">
</form>
-- HTML --
In all my PHP, $formvar would not exist!!! What's going on here!! It worked
100% perfectly, beautifully while I was still on FreeBSD - Hell, I was ready
to roll the code out onto production until I realised this!!!!
Please help!!
