Hi Daniel:
I'm now using PHP4.0.2-dev with 27 activated extensions on my Win98 box.
Here is the list:
;Windows Extensions
extension=php_calendar.dll
extension=php_cpdf.dll
extension=php_curl.dll
extension=php_cybercash.dll
extension=php_db.dll;
extension=php_exif.dll
extension=php_fdf.dll;
extension=php_ftp.dll
extension=php_gd.dll;
extension=php_gettext.dll
extension=php_imap.dll
extension=php_interbase.dll;
extension=php_java.dll
extensions=php_java.jar
extension=php_ldap.dll
extension=php_mssql65.dll
;extension=php_mssql70.dll
;extension=php_oci8.dll
extension=php_pdf.dll
extension=php_pgsql.dll
extension=php_zlib.dll
;These functions are included in the source and do not need a dll:
;bcmath - com - mysql - odbc - pcre - session - standard - wddx - xml
So there are only 2 extensions that refuse to be loaded for me:
mssql70,oci8.
Do you have any idea why?

hi

which config?
i could test the oracle extension @ home, it's running there under
win98. but i hadn't the time to do that yet.
anything wrong with it?
okay i know you meant mssql :) but i can't test it since i have no mssql
here.
we depend on reports of other users.

opensa is an openssl packet for win32. it bundles all the necessary
stuff. openssl, mod_ssl and the patched apache.
the opensa apache differs a little bit from the "normal" apache and the
modules are min. diffrent. the opensa apche module should run safer on
that patched apche, but you can use the normal apache module too.
opensa could be found uner http://www.opensa.org , but there
server
seems to be down.
