Have you opened the db first? I.e. $db = mysql_connect($user, $password, $host); mysql_create_db(databasename, $db); I've tried to do some mysql commands before I connect to the mysql server before... php doesn't like that :) -Dash Death is life's way of telling you you've been fired. -- R.
