If you are just seeing the text, then php doesn't know how to
interpret the files...
I have the same problem if I use notepad to create php files, the
easiest solution is to go into a command prompt, and rename the files from
.php.txt to .php (go to the relevant directory and ren *.php.txt *.php
should do it)
