The only risk I bother about is snotty little assistants at webhosting companies pinching or frigging with my code, you have little to fear from web users. To get around this (where there is a known problem) I just run an app which mashes the scripts up a bit, replaces selected non global vars with long nonsensical names, removes carriage returns, comments and so forth so that they look really ugly and depraved but still make perfect sense to the php engine. It wouldnt stop a seriously good programmer but then such a programmer wouldnt be much interested in pinching my code!! But the result is ugly enough to give any brat the horrors. ======= At 2003-04-18, 15:23:00 you wrote: ======= >If you have money to spend Zend (the Company behind PHP once it grew) >has software that encodes php scripts.
