Clearing the 'back' and 'forward' buttons

Is there a way to clear the 'back' and 'forward' buttons in an explorer,
or in some other way prevent a user moving to past 'page' holding
'secure' information ?
I'm using Windows XP, IExplorer 6 and Apache HTTP Server 2.0.44.
