The manual is full of good examples and very readable http://smarty.php.net Also notice the smarty "wiki" link on the smarty homepage - lots of good info here and a list of sites using smarty (which i imagine is nowhere near complete) http://smarty.incutio.com I started using smarty about 2 months ago and have used it in 3 or 4 projects so far. I really enjoy being able to separte "getting" the data and displaying the data. (of course you can do this without smarty or a tempalte system) The learning curve is minimal, try it out and see if you like it.
