How is another question :) Get the www.php4win.de distribution and use the OCI calls. What you will need is an Oracle 8.1.x client (id recommend 8.1.6) you probably will need to download the whole 8.1.6 distribution (400Mb) as all the client downloads require the Oracle Universal Installer which only seems to come with 8.1.6. You can get the Oracle distro from technet.oracle.com or if you have a licensed version of Oracle 7.x on your server call your local friendly Oracle Office and they should be able to get you a client CD. Have fun. mn -----Original Message----- From: Planiol, Pere [mailto:pplaniol@ajgirona.org] Sent: Friday, September 22, 2000 3:51 PM To: 'php-windows@lists.php.net' Subject: Oracle 7.x and PHP 4 Hi, Can I use the OCI calls in PHP 4 to attach Oracle 7.x ? The oci8.dll and oracle.dll crashes Apache in my Oracle 7.3. In PHP 3 there is a file called oci73.dll, but I can't use it. What can I do ?
