hi folks!
There's one big problem executing shell command with PHP under Win98SE. The
program I'm executing requires all filenames I send as parameters to be in
the old 8.3 format (short filenames). When using the @opendir command I
receive all filenames in the standard VFAT-format (long filenames). Is there
any way to get the filename not in VFAT-style but in old dos 8.3 format
(which is also represent in the DIR-command at the prompt?).
Thanx in advance, Phil
