Hi Everybody,
I'm new to the list and I should tell you that I'm a newbie.
Therefore, I'll start right now with my first question.
I'm using PHP 4.0.2 on a Win2000/IIS 5.0 machine.
I get into trouble when I want to create a new session.
I used on first page session_register("ID") to create the new session and a
new session variable called ID.
On my second page, I'm using session_register() to get back the ID.
when I do at the top of the page
session_register();
$ID++;
it works fine.
The problem is that I have to use the ID on the whole page, and I haven't
got to do $ID++, the $ID variable should be set in a member function. I
could set a variable called $ID in the function, but it seems to be a local
variable only.
I also tried with HTTP_SESSION_VARS['ID'] but it also seems to be a local
variable.
Could anyone help please.
It is really important !!!
