RE: [PHP-WINDOWS] Nice editor for PHP

The best one I've found to date, even though it has nothing to do with PHP is Dreamweaver 3.0. It doesn't edit PHP code and its a great WYSIWYG webpage design tool, although I still cringe at WYSIWYG from Frontpage days, but it understands php code. -Andrew Andrew Phillips Applications Developer Blue Ribbon Internet 2708 Billingsley Road Columbus, Ohio 43235 Ph: 614.889.9800 Fax: 614.889.9082 Andrew@blueribboninternet.com http://www.blueribboninternet.com "we untangle the web" -----Original Message----- From: D.kingma@student.utwente.nl [SMTP:D.kingma@student.utwente.nl] Sent: Wednesday, June 07, 2000 3:54 PM To: Drew Kime; php-windows@lists.php.net Subject: RE: [PHP-WINDOWS] Nice editor for PHP bugs: rename your document, and check the name in the project window: doesn't change. And it just gives error messages and quites 10 times a day, which is ofcourse very irritating. It's the best program, but when it quits 10 times a day you simply stop using it :-(. I agree with the syntax coloring, but what bugs have you found? There are some parts that seem to be incomplete, but I haven't noticed any problems. Someone else mentioned an editor that allows you to run your scripts through the PHP engine. Does anyone know of an editor that has taken advantage of the new Zend engine, as in using it in an IDE? -- PHP Windows Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-windows-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-windows-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net -- PHP Windows Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-windows-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-windows-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
