Well it does even occur when using a plain html file without any php tags test.php:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Test PHP</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<H1>PHP HTML works</H1>
</BODY>
</HTML>
Maybe I did sth wrong with the configuration
I put the following lines in the apache httpd.conf:
<------------------
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
Action application/x-httpd-php c:/programme/php/php.exe
------------------>
then I set the directory rights to the following:
<------------------
# DocumentRoot left as default
DocumentRoot "C:/Programme/Apache Group/Apache/htdocs"
<Directory "C:/Programme/Apache Group/Apache/htdocs">
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews ExecCGI
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
------------------>
I just added 'ExecCGI'
in the php.ini I added the following document root:
<------------------
doc_root = "C:\Programme\Apache Group\Apache\htdocs"
------------------>
now when trying to get the file test.php I get the following error:
<------------------
Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Invalid URI in request GET /test.php HTTP/1.1
------------------>
It seems that the file test.php is not found.
If I put test.php in the same dir as php.exe the error described first
occurs (the crash).
Running the file from the commandline
<------------------
php.exe test.php
------------------>
works fine.
