I have run into several problems:
Using Win98SE, Apache 1.3.14, PHP 4.0.2 from www.php4win.de
At first I thought this was due to me not using Win NT, but I guess PHP
being used as an Apache module should not cause platform troubles.
First, php4apache.dll was NOT in the mod_php4 dir. I had to copy it. Next, I
had to edit the PHP.INI file to state that extensions are NOT in the c:\php
dir. The I needed to comment out the php_ifx.dll file because the module
kept saying it's not there (and it IS there). After all that bother, I
started Apache again and it crushed, windows reporting an illegal operation.
I restarted, messed around and flipped finally, since I'm writing this after
10 hours of constant trying to make PHP work (of which 3 hours have been
spent with your method and this method has gotten me furthest).
OK, I admit, I'm desperate. HELP!
