Problem installing PHP4 (Win98SE + APACHE)

Really feel embarrassed to post this question after having read many many posts and faqs, but I do need desperately help. I have intalled Apache 1.3.12 and it seemed to work ok, with that DOS window showing "Apache/1.3.12 (Win32) running..." And I used IE5 to see http://127.0.0.1 and I saw the Apache default page which tells me that the installation of Apache has been successful. The Apache is installed in C:\Apache. in httpd.conf, part of the settings are: ServerRoot: C/Apache BindAddress: 127.0.0.1 ServerName: localhost DocumentRoot: C:/Apache/htdocs ScriptAlias /php4/ "c:/php/" AddType application/x-httpd-php .php AddType application/x-httpd-php4 .php AddType application/x-httpd-php4 .php4 Action application/x-httpd-php4 /php/php.exe The PHP4's setup is: Intalled in C:\php php.ini is in C:\Windows php.exe and the dlls are in C:\Windows\System the registry setting is [HKey....\Script Map] ".php"="C:\\php\\php4isapi.dll" ".php3"="C:\\php\\php4isapi.dll" I have copied the file test.php into C:\Apache\htdocs\ but when I tried the URL http://localhost/test.php I got an error message http 404 by IE5. in php.ini, Browscap=C:\Windows\system\inetsrv\browscap.ini Thanks. jing
