IE vs Netscape browser, performance

I made a php script: A simple form, an insert action on a mySQL table.
When I run it in IE -> very fast respons.
When I run it in Netscape I have to wait for 90 seconds before I get a
respons!!!!
This applies to all actions on the database.
I use IIS. Win2000.
Has it something to do with running Netscape on a windows platform? Is this
a known issue? Has someone noticed this before? What is the solution?
