Session files Not Deleting after session_destroy, browser close, etc

Greets all, My session files do not get deleted, they don't even get unset. I call Session_start, use the session variables, then I call unset, I call destroy, nada, stuf is still there physically, closing browser and of course it is still there. Open the file in notepad and values didn't get unset even. Does anyone know why this is happening (Win98/PWS4), or have some code or technique to delete the files manually, by referencing it by SID, please?
