Basically you need something like ScriptAlias /php4/ "C:/web/php4.0.3/" AddType application/x-httpd-php4 .php4 .php .inc .htm Action application/x-httpd-php4 "/php4/php.exe" For PHP to works as a CGI. the php executable in this example must be in c:\web\php4.0.3\ mn Mark Nold markn@enspace.com <mailto:markn@enspace.com> Senior Consultant Change is inevitable, except from vending machines. -----Original Message----- From: Greg "Deuce" Slinn [mailto:gslinn@clara.co.uk] Sent: Friday, November 03, 2000 7:05 AM To: php-windows@lists.php.net Subject: Help with Apache + PHP4 + Win98SE. Hey there, I followed the instructions from http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/00/44/index4a_page7.html <http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/00/44/index4a_page7.html> but I only see the literal code when I do the phpinfo test. It gives the following reasons for why this may happen : * Your phpinfo.php file is really called phpinfo.php.txt and you just can't see the hidden file extension. * Your phpinfo.php file is not in the Apache document root. * Your ScriptAlias and Action lines in httpd.conf don't match up, or PHP4 isn't installed in the place you think it is. * Your AddType lines are incorrect. Now I know it's definately not the first two but I was hoping if I attached my httpd.conf that one of you would take a browse through it and see if you can spot the mistake and correct it for me. Thx in advance Greg.
