I think one of the most important issue is the installation procedure: it's
not well explained in readme.txt file and in some circumstances i had to
invent. PWS is "rougher", so you can tweak your regedit until php works, but
i think no sane people would use PWS as production webserver. In IIS
everything is more organized, but is hard (and dangerous) messing with the
regedit. I have a LAN with about 150 clients: i use php to show directory
content and query results. Til 4.0.2 i used the isapi mode, never installed
4.0.3, and with 4.0.3pl1 something has broken. I had to come back to 4.0.2
in CGI mode. An example: why, if I want to run the isapi mode, i don't have
to put phpisapi.dll between isapi modules?
Not being neither a C programmer, nor a C lover, is my biggest regret,
'cause i'd like to help developing PHP.
