Easy way:
Download the php windows installer from the downloads page on
http://www.php.net - it will sort it out for you
Slightly harder way:
Use regedit and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ RunOnce
Create a text key whose value is a command to copy the new msvcrt.dll from
wherever it is not to the winnt\system32 directory.
eg copy c:\php\msvcrt.dll c:\winnt\system32\winnt\msvcrt.dll
Shut down the machine, and log on. The file will have been copied.
