I am trying to convert an ASP to PHP. The script uses a few of our COM
automated objects written in C++. I am having two problems. Please correct
me if I am doing something wrong. Otherwise I report them as bugs.
1- The automation server serves three object (say Main, Obj1, and Obj2).
Obj1 and Obj2 are created by Main. Obj1 should hold to Obj2 via its Child
property. The code look like this:
$objMain = new COM("TheMainObject");
$obj1 = $objMain->CreateFirstObject();
$obj2 = $objMain->CreateSecondObject();
/* set some $obj1 and $obj2 properties here. these are of type long
and string */
$obj1->Child = $obj2;
Everything works up to the last line that reports "Type Mismatch" error.
This line works in ASP. The child property is of type IDispatch *.
2- One of these objects returns a Variant of type safearray. The safe array
is four double float. The PHP does not like this array and report a
Unsupported Variant Type error. How do I pass an array of doubles to PHP?
