mail() with php3.0.16, win NT4: access violation error

hello, I'm (still) trying to send a mail using php 3.0.16 on win NT 4.0 service pack 4 (and apache 1.3.12): my SMTP server is a local ESMTP Server (Microsoft Exchange Internet Mail Service 5.5.2448.0) ; when I call the mail() function I get an "access violation" error caused by php.exe Does anybody had this problem? (I know it works with php4 / winnt4 + s.p.6 but don't know if it's due to php4 or else to s.p.6..) note: if I connect to my ISP's mail server I only get a "500 server error" from apache (so the access violation could be related to MS Exchange?) thank you for any help Giuseppe _______________________________________________________________________ Why pay when you don't have to?
