HELP extension problem(s)

Hi, I'm using PHP4.0.0(release) on NT4/Apache1.3.12 and I'd like to use some extensions like php_mcrypt.dll, php_ftp.dll (I got them from download.swwwing.com - /php4/modules/) - I add those to extension list in php.ini, extension_dir = ./ extension=php_mcrypt.dll I have both dll's located in my PHP dir and in SYSTEM32 dir - the dll's don't seem to get loaded because I'm unable to use any functions from them. Also once I add a dll to the ini file on every php file I load into browser I get the following at the top of the page, X-Powered-By: PHP/4.0.0 Content-type: text/html Anyone any idea? Do I need to recompile the binaries to use those dll's? Thanks.
