Hi Helgi, I have encountered the same problem myself. If you are using PHP 4.03 or newer with the php.ini-optimized as php.ini, then the variables aren't directly available. In the forementioned php.ini-optizimed is noted. ; - register_globals = Off ; Global variables are no longer registered for input data (POST, GET, cookies, ; environment and other server variables). Instead of using $foo, you must use ; $HTTP_POST_VARS["foo"], $HTTP_GET_VARS["foo"], $HTTP_COOKIE_VARS["foo"], ; $HTTP_ENV_VARS["foo"] or $HTTP_SERVER_VARS["foo"], depending on which kind ; of input source you're expecting 'foo' to come from. Turning them on may do the trick. Submitted information of the first form must be used in later on forms. Every time, submit by post is done, variables from that page are lost. I want to have each form in different file (.php) and need defined variables in earlier forms to be defined there. How would I go about this? It does not help to use action="<?php echo $PHP_SELF ?>" in the form field, because I still lose defined variables. Should I use classes? (I don't think they help) Please advice With thanks in advance.
