Hello,
I hope someone can help me. I've had Perl and ColdFusion running on my
Win98SE box with PWS for a couple of years now. I've heard so much good
about PHP that I really want to try it. Now, I'm a died in the wool
ColdFusion user, so I'll be a hard sell. However, I am open minded to any
tool that will help me earn more income. That said, I installed the Win32
Binary PHP 4.0.3pl1 from php.net. It's supposed to use the Windows
installer to automatically configure PHP on the PWS. Well, it won't run.
The pages come back as text, all the tags included. Anyone have any
experience with this? Suggestions? Here's what I HAVE done so far:
Set the directory to Script and Execute on the PWS server.
I have tried both of these settings in the Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/W3SVC/Parameters/Script
Map/
Then .php with "c:\php\php.exe"
AND c:\php\php.exe %s"
c:\php\php.exe %s %s"
c:\php\php4isapi.dll"
c:\php\php4isapi.dll %s %s"
c:\php\php4isapi.dll %s"
The php.ini file is in the Windows directory
The php4ts.dll is in the Windows\System directory
The Msvcrt.dll is in the Windows\System directory
Thanks,
Dave
