Best way is to set up the perfect trio: apache (latest version is
1.3.14, get it from www.apache.org), MySQL (latest is 3.23.28-gamma
from www.mysql.com) and PHP 4 (latest non-dev is -I think- 4.0.3, from
php4win.de). There are lots of tutorials lying around for
instalations, look at phpwizard.com, phpbuilder.com, php.net, and many
others.
You can install this on your computer and work offline, with a
complete online environment. Or you can omit the web server and use
angorasoftware's script viewer (angorasoftware.com).
Have fun!
Gonzalo.
