(Always say "it's the fault of win32" is easy for some persons but i' am work with more than 5 years with big servers under nt4 & linux and all work fines (each OSwith goods and bads aspects). Oracle ,IBM, Microsoft have very heavy and complex solutions on win32: I think it's possible to have stable win32 php4 build like are Oracle server, SQL server, IIS, Netscape merchant... It's to php4 project leaders to confirm to 'win32 is important' and give orientation to the project (there is no orientation like for netscape 6). Projects as ZOPE manage to develop under unix and windows with the same functionality. If you open the TODO you can read "add remarks in the documentation which functions are not implemented on win32" and not "make all the possible to implement all function on win32":: It is certainly the best example of the attitude towards the user of win32 platforms. nestor
