Win2k/IIS/PHP4 Problems

I am having problems with my 4.0.0 install on my Windows 2000 Professional Server with IIS 5... I keep getting an occasional "Encountered access violation at xxxxxxxx"... the funny thing is, NONE of my pages have PHP script IN them yet.... it is just my normal website with the extsnsions changed to .PHP... Anyone know how to fix this? I am using the precompiled binaries for win32 4.0.0
