I downloaded the files: php4isapi.dl php4nts.dll php4ts.dll phpts.exe from the core directory, and php_gd.dll php_zlib.dll zlib.dll from the module directory, put them all in the c:\winnt directory, altered my php.ini file to load the php_gd.dll as an extension, altered the extension directory to be c:\winnt (all as suggested below), altered httpd.conf to Action application/x-httpd-php "/shell-php/phpts.exe" (instead of loading php as a module "LoadModule php4_module modules/php4apache.dll") restarted apache... and got the following errors when running my test code: <?php Header("Content-type: image/png\n\n"); $im = ImageCreate(75,16); $red = ImageColorAllocate($im, 220, 0, 0); $black = ImageColorAllocate($im, 0, 0, 0); ImageFill($im, 0,0, $black); ImagePng($im); ImageDestroy($im); ?> "The procedure entry point php_error_cb could not be located in the dynamic link library php4ts.dll" and then the same message with: zend_error_cb The output is: X-Powered-By: PHP/4.0.1-dev Content-type: image/png ‰PNG IHDRKdÉ?PLTEÜÀ›e›IDATxœcø†+?qXå¥!IEND®B`‚ In fact, if i run any php at all, i get the same two error messages. Furthermore, i need to run php4 as a apache module (ie php4apache) so using a php.exe file is right out... Any suggestions? Andre wrote: When you get the DLLs from swwwing.com you must have to get the "core files". These files are in http://download.swwwing.com/php4/core The extensions DLLs from swwwing.com will only work if you get these files. Put the core files and the DLL modules at c:\winnt or c:\winnt\system32 (if you have NT4 or WIN2k) or at c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 (for Win95/98 users) Modify the PHP.INI setting the extension_dir to the directory where you put the extensions DLLs. The correct php executable from swwwing.com is the phpts.exe and NOT the php.exe. If you use the phpts.exe the php.ini must bee located in c:\winnt.
