Anurag--
I use a graphics design software, PhotoShop. PaintShopPro is another one
that may be easier to use and has a trial version. A tutorial is also on
the jasc.com site.

Is there a way, by which a bmp file can be manipulated by php image
functions and if possible changed to gif format ?
Do U know any solution to this outside the scope of php ?
