I do several of these by setting the home page in IE5 to whatever.html and
then using Javascript in this page to autoload php pages with the same
javascript function to load the next page.
This way I can run several tasks.
By auto loading both local and web based files you can do anything you wish.
i.e. upload the data for changes to pages or special offers etc.
Download any user info in the web database to the office.(Access)
Empty customer tables in web database.
Auto email all customers
etc etc etc.
By using a socks server(VSOCKS www.pscs.co.uk FREE) I can autoconnect and
disconnect the modem using two batch files.
