Hello Marcus, I've found a couple of test cases that fail :) class myClass {public $mine;} this segfaults: var_dump(property_exists(new myClass, 222)); var_dump(property_exists('aa', 222)); these don't output the same value if the property isn't initializated: var_dump(property_exists('myClass', 'mine')); var_dump(property_exists(new myClass, 'mine')); Nuno P.S.: I'll wait before I commit the docs untill you decide the name of the function. ----- Original Message -----
Hello Nuno, try again, i hopefully have fixed all isues now. But you houldn't document the code since the function will be renamed anyway. best regards marcus Friday, April 15, 2005, 6:35:55 PM, you wrote:
BTW, there is another bug:
<?
class myClass {
    public $mine;
}
var_dump(property_exists('myClass', 'mine')); var_dump(property_exists(new myClass, 'mine'));
?>>
outputs: bool(true) bool(false)
If the property is initializated, both output true.

helly Fri Apr 8 09:33:17 2005 EDT Modified files: /ZendEngine2 zend_builtin_functions.c Log: - Add property_exits()
It segfaults with empty strings: <? var_dump(property_exists('','')); ?> Nuno
