Hi, I've developed a new PhP module called Puno that makes the OpenOffice.org UNO Programming API available to PHP programmers. It's written in C++ and can be used to write scripts that create, modify, read and save OpenOffice.org documents (Writer, Spreadsheet, Drawing). Also, these documents can be exported in various formats, like PDF or HTML for example. However, I have a question about which license to use: OpenOffice is LGPL but I wish to release the module using the PHP 3.0 License, any of you know if is this possible ?
By the way, you may like to update it to 3.01. There is no issue, as far as I remember the PHP License is compatible with LGPL. The PHP license should be used only with softwares distributed under php.net. Will you use pecl cvs and website to distribute and develop your extension? CVS is not a requirement but is a nice way to get patches and feedbacks :)
Please feel free to send any other comments or suggestions.
I did not review the codes but looks at the docs and examples, you already did a great work. It would be a very good addition to PECL. One question, is it possible to get it work on windows or is it a limitation of the OOo libs/SDK? --Pierre
