Bug Type: OCI8 related
Operating System: RedHat 7.3+Oracle 8i/9i
PHP Version: 4.2.1
New Comment:
Could you please try the latest CVS snapshot:
http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz
I think this is already fixed. Configure is just detecting
wrong version.

I've install RedHat 7.3+Oracle 8i/9i and want install php4.2.1, I set
--with-oci8=$ORACLE_HOME and do ./config without any error, but when I
run make command, it generate a error and stop compile.
Error info is below:
/usr/bin/ld:cannot find -lclntsh
collect2:ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]:*** [libphp4.la] Error 1
make[1]:leaving directory '/opt/php-4.2.1'
make:*** [all-recursive] Error1.
But when I strip the parameter --with-oci8, all step is normal and
install is OK.
