My current code for find.php is: <html> <head> </head> <body> <?php print_r ($_POST); $input = $_POST["design"]; ?> </body> </html> Result: Array() that's all ! GET is still working ! Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-09-12 12:03:10] sniper@php.net Please try using this CVS snapshot: http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz For Windows: http://snaps.php.net/win32/php4-win32-latest.zip ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-09-12 11:34:26] pahluwalia@hotmail.com I am using Win2K with IIS 5. I have tried to install through the installshield version as well as the manual zip file version 4.2.3 And print_r $_POST (as well as $_POST['var']) gives an empty array but $_GET works ! My php.ini is the default that came with the installation files. What more information do you need ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-09-12 05:58:20] sniper@php.net Not enough information was provided for us to be able to handle this bug. Thank you for your interest in PHP. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-09-11 21:52:16] pahluwalia@hotmail.com Hi ! I did read all the problems related with POST, but they all suggest to get the latest version, so I have 4.2.3 ... when I use GET, it works fine(with a small problem) but when I use POST it doesn't ! Code: <form action="find.php" method="post"> Design Number: <input type="text" name="design"> <input type="submit"> </form> in find.php:- $input = $_POST["design"]; RESULT: Undefined index: design I am not accessing the var directly, so no problem related with globals ! The problem with GET is that if the size of total var's I am using to pass through Form is more than 50 char's , it gives garbled values in the URL ! Strange... Would be waiting for answers !!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=19365&edit=1
