Nevermind, I had same compiler and it works fine.
Can you try this configure line:
# rm config.cache && ./configure --disable-all --disable-cgi

Could it be anyway possible for you to try some more stable version of
gcc? Like some version starting with 3.2...

1. Download PHP 4.3.2RC2
2. Uncompress
3. run configure witht he following flags
./configure --with-xml --with-zlib --with-gd=/usr/local
--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local --with-png-dir=/usr/local
--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-pgsql
4. Configure completes no problems no errors
5. make
7. I see this every so often...
cc1: warning: changing search order for system directory
"/usr/local/include"
cc1: warning: as it has already been specified as a non-system
directory
6. make: *** [libs/libphp4.bundle] Error 1
