Hi Jean, Was interested in your question since I was wondering whether you could port PHP onto iSeries. Looking at IBMs sites there seems to be a product called DB2 connect http://www-4.ibm.com/software/data/db2/db2connect/ that might help you. The client runs on a range of platforms spcifically for connecting to AS400 and VMS systems. Supporting ODBC, ADO, OLE DB, JDBC, SQLJ, DB2 CLI and Embedded SQL. Perhaps one of these would help. Let me know if you find the solution. I've searched the archives and a few other places but cannot find any information on how to open a connection from a Linux box to an AS/400 DB2. (Though I can find how to connect a windows-PHP using ODBC or a Linux-PHP to a DB2 as long as the DB2 is on the same Linux machine). I'm sure someone out there must have done this before, right? :) So how's it done? Thanks!
