Hello guys
Well, this may seem quite a dumb question but after looking for the answer
very deeply into some books and tutorials I gave up trying to understand it.
The thing is: what's exactly a socket? I've read I can connect to my
database either through a port or a socket but honestly I always use ports
since don't really know what the other means.
You may not give me the answer but please point me to a tutorial or article
explaining it.
