Just like the *NIX folks, NT folks have to install the 8i client on the w3
server. There is no magic "one file to make it work" in the NT world.
Check out the recent discussions in this list and on php-windows for more
details.
If you don't want to download, I believe Oracle will sell you an 8i client
on CD fairly cheap [just to cover shipping and such]. I know if you
purchase Red Hat Linux you get a free 8i CD. :-)
