Try to remove the line from libphp3.module.in in the
php-3.0.12 directory which starts with LDFLAGS_SHLIB. Then
run
$ ./config.status && make install
Reconfigure Apache after this procedure. If it does not work
then, please try the current php3 CVS which is supposed to
work correctly with Apache 1.3.9.
