I made some changes to pgsql.c and php3_pgsql.h to get PHP3 to compile with both PostgreSQL 6.3.x and 6.4 (rumoured to be released within a month), but haven't tested more than 30 minutes. Compiles ok and *seems* to work. It would be a shame if PostgreSQL 6.4 comes out and PHP3 doesn't support it. It would be quite a lot greater shame to commit something that breaks PostgreSQL support just before 3.0.4 release... So, if it's going to be this weekend, I'll commit after the release and hope that 3.0.5 will be out within a month. Otherwise, I'll commit immediately and hope someone else too can test it. Oh, what I changed and why: there was one case where it must be known to which connection a result belongs (pg_fieldtype). It couldn't be referred to with PGresult *pgsql_result->conn anymore, so I typedef'd typedef struct _php3_pgsql_result_handle { PGconn *conn; PGresult *result; } pgsql_result_handle; and passed the connection along with every result.
