Didn't we kill it? We e g the market. Netscape forced companies to pay
license fees. Why pay when MS is giving it away for free? Netscape
discovered free software too late.

SOAP i similar to XML-RPC but it rides on HTTP but can be extended to other
protocols e g SMTP.

Corba isn't good. It's too much! SOAP - SIMPLE Object Access Protocol. 99 %
of my and many other projects we need simple stuff. Corba is attached with
more work and more expenses. My customers will love me if I can charge them
less and I bet that yours will to.
