Shane, Andi,                     this is useful information, I had worked out some of this, but not all - thanks.  I'm pretty sure that 5044 is the same bug that I am suffering with(4939), the address is the same, and you can see from my appends about 4939, what info I had found about the failure. Since my last append, I have made zero progress.  I am now trying to understand what is the difference between the debug_ts excuteables, and the release_ts executeables, as in my case if I compile the debug_ts, it works fine, and the release_ts falls over everytime.  Also what might be different on my machine to Andi's machine for example, as it works o.k. for Andi.
