It is mentioned in the above list.

No, you don't.

1. Add the following macro to your config.m4:
AC_DEFUN(PHP_ORACLE_EVAL_SYSLIBLIST,[
for arg in
cat $1; do
case "$arg" in
-l*)
lib=echo $i|cut -c 3-
case "$lib" in
c_r|*thread*) ;;
*) AC_ADD_LIBRARY($lib);;
esac
;;
-L*)
dir=echo $i|cut -c 3-
AC_ADD_LIBPATH($dir)
;;
esac
done
])
This will take care of the library list in sysliblist and
prevents adding references to libc_r or libpthreads.
You can call that macro as
PHP_ORACLE_EVAL_SYSLIBLIST(/path/to/sysliblist)
2. Include the autoconf code from my last email into
ext/oracle/config.m4. The Pthread activation probably needs
to be refined to either be activated on more platforms or
with certain Oracle versions (I think you once mentioned that
the client libraries of 8.1.x are always thread-safe).
