Well, the warning do seem to be fairly dodgy, but I don't know
enough libtool to say why.
However, the PHP install on a dev box is fine:
http://brick.recoil.org/info.php [phpinfo]
http://brick.recoil.org/png.php [gd test]
So it seems to work.
I will be installing Horde/IMP very soon, so I can confirm if
the c-client portion works or not.
