Huh? How HTTP method suggests to you that you should suddently drop pats
of URL? You can say: "Oh, I know most users don't do it, so I won't
implement it because that's too hard to do" (even though I don't see
what's hard in looking into QUERY_STRING even if the methos is POST), but
don't say: "I don't do it because standard says so". Standard doesn't.

No, putting in form fields is going to bring you other problems. Just
think about some Javascript looking for form fields and suddently
discovering some field it never knew of...
