In addition to http://www.epita.fr:8000/~cahagn_o/php/info.php
I symlinked it to index.php and, now, Netscape for Unix (Linux, NetBSD)
display the images correctly:
Euh, they do not for me with NS 4.74/Windows
Sorry, I didn't read my whole message again, I modified my message while testing.
This one doesn't work, you're right.
In fact, I first symlinked index.php and, then, created a subdirectory because, otherwise, there was no way to see the original bug. :)
http://www.epita.fr:8000/~cahagn_o/php/bug/index.php
A second info.php in the same directory will also work because of
index.php being present:
This one works for me.

As Stanislav Malyshev states, it might be discard_path related, can you tell me part of the HTML code with phpinfo() when loading from a php build without --enable-discard-path ?
I'd like to see if <img src=...> is empty or contain $PHP_SELF or something.
