I've wanted to implement that a few months ago, but Andi explained that it's not really possible to write that function properly.
well, what was his reason? during some discussion we´ve found out that zend vars have a parameter is_ref and thus... no problem I`d think (var_dump() is capable of marking references too) we´ve also found out that it´s complicated to find out to what the reference belongs too (for serializing), I think stas worked on this, not sure regards -- o----------0-¬---------O-·---¬----o---®-----o o O ° . | http://www.kiffen.de | pRoteçt y0ur bRaín |0 O ° ¤ ° · 0°·³°²'²³-¹'³´³°^°³~³²³°'³²²¨³²^³¹³²°²³`³º³°Þ ° o © ° . · | psychedelic experience | gott@kiffen.de | O ° o ° o-¬--o--0-----©-·--O-----o-----0-¤----------o 0 ° · ° . ¤ ·
