Wouldn't this change fix it:
-8.1)
-AC_ADD_LIBRARY_WITH_PATH(clntsh, $OCI8_DIR/lib, OCI8_SHARED_LIBADD)
-;;
+8.1)
+LIBS="-L$OCI8_DIR/lib $LIBS -lclntsh"
+;;
Dunno what to do to that shared part though..
Maybe there should be a own macro for AC_ADD_LIBRARY_WITH_PATH in the
config.m4 for oci8? Like this:
AC_DEFUN(AC_ADD_OCI8_LIBRARY_WITH_PATH,[
ifelse($3,,[
if test -n "$2"; then
AC_ADD_LIBPATH($2)
fi
LIBS="$LIBS -lclntsh"
],[
if test "$ext_shared" = "yes"; then
$3="[$]$3 -l$1"
if test -n "$2"; then
AC_ADD_LIBPATH($2,$3)
fi
else
AC_ADD_OCI8_LIBRARY_WITH_PATH($1,$2)
fi
])
])
